Despite getting out of bed at 7am we only arrived at the camp south of Ouarzazate now, it was a long 600kms. The camp is in the middle of nowhere (for the horror film lovers: the deserted set where Wes Craven’s movie “Hills have eyes” was shot), we have satellite phone access to the Internet only, so there are no photos today. Sorry.
The highlights of the day were a 110m waterfall and crossing the High Atlas at more than 2100m on a narrow track which was asphalted the last time probably a 100 years ago in complete darkness.
Oops ;-)! Andras wrote this text yesterday and put it in here today. So they are not driving all the night. I think it was around midnight, when they arrived at the camp yesterday.
So it sounds much better.
“was asphalted the last time probably a 100 years ago in complete darkness” sounds like you are in Eastern-Hungarian roads ๐
I think it should mean: crossing … on an narrow track … in complete darkness! ๐
