I paid an unannounced visit to the garage today and found the engine of the beast still jacked up beside the car. Grrrr!!!! At least it was completely mounted except for the cylinder head and I could turn it by hand…

And I learned why I couldn’t reach my mechanic for one week: he left his mobile on the dashboard of a truck he fixed, so it went to Spain for a few nice days in the sun and only came back yesterday 😉

You can see the intercooler in its future position on the following photo. It is huge and will give us some extra power – once it is mounted… I don’t even want to tell you the next deadline we agreed on, I don’t believe it myself.
