Camera stand
Instead of attaching camera mounts to different parts of the car I decided to buy a professional car stand. It was expensive, but it works perfectly. Here is the result of my first test today (featuring my daughters hands):

they try and err until something works, or until they run out of time.
The latter happened to our mechanic now: I bought a workshop manual (yes, you can still find old ones on the Internet, mine is from 1989) to find out what’s wrong with the engine.

Finally I found an affordable CB radio, a Stalker IX, the CB staple of the 80s. It smells like an ashtray, must have belonged to a truck driver who just died of lung cancer. I put it out in the fresh air, hope it will not rain in the next days 😉
The other acquisition of the last days are four 16 inch wheel rims instead of the currently mounted 15 inch ones, those should give us a few cm more ground clearance. The rims are from a Mazda B2500, lets see how many different car brands the Beast will be composed of at the end.
