Day 3

News of today: Despite being citizens of EU we were not allowed to leave the ferry today in Valencia. Official explanation was because we had already passed Moroccan immigration on the ship. We rather believe it is because two tickets Livorno-Valencia and Valencia-Tanger are more expensive than just Livorno-Tanger.

So we were watching unloading and loading of the ferry for 4 hours. Six new Budapest-Bamako teams joined in Valencia, we have now Latvian, Hungarian, Spanish and British teams with us. We spent some hours discussing their adventures (engine breakdown after 300km, no clue about GPS coordinates, etc).

We drank two bottles of wine Michal bought at a gas station on Saturday. The quality was matching the price of 4EUR per bottle (well, to be honest it was the worst wine experience I ever had).

We watched a movie yesterday night. The quality was even worse than that of the wine.

We received some complaints that we are blogging only single sentences. Customers first, here you have 11 sentences today 🙂

Day 2

We are on the biggest ship on Earth, too big for one time zone, so parts of it operate on GMT, others on GMT+1. You never know who is in which time zone, but typically you are in the wrong one. So we could not go to our car today (missed the only time slot by one hour), but finally managed to

– load the waypoints of 5 rally stages into our GPS (3 hours of work)

– get our Moroccan immigration papers done (5 hours queuing and filling in of forms)
