Let me introduce my teammate for the 2018 rally, Laci. He is a six-time Budapest-Bamako veteran whom I first met on the ferry to Morocco in 2011.  Living in Budapest he is a car mechanic by profession. Unfortunately his wife, who is usually accompanying him on the African trips cannot join this time, so it will be the two of us.

The rest of the team remains unchanged, the red Patrol plus my humble self.

In January Team Desert Patrol returns to Africa! Registration for the Budapest-Bamako 2018 is completed, the preparations have started. This year the finish line will be in Banjul / Gambia.
