First pump “repair”

A few days ago we received news that the solar pump of the irrigation system stopped working. We first suspected the well to be dry (May is the driest month in the area) but our friend Salihou who went to Mambourke to investigate the problem quickly found the reason: a piece of old rope was sucked in by the pump and blocked the rotor. After cleaning the pump started to work again. Thank you Salihou for the great job!
